The Law Firm of Stanton L. Cobb was established in 1989 by Stanton L. Cobb after serving three years as an Assistant Public Defender and six years in the private practice of Criminal Law and Family Law. Mr. Cobb is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a Marital & Family Law Specialist. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and currently serves on on the Florida Board of Managers.
The firm's practice has been limited exclusively to Matrimonial and Family Law since 1993 and Mr. Cobb devotes substantial time to improving the practice of family law in Florida by frequent lecturing on family law issues including child custody, antenuptial agreements, divorce/dissolution, financial issues, and general matrimonial law. He has also authored publications for the continuing legal education component of the Florida Bar and has served on the Board of Editorial Reviewers of the Florida Family Law Reporter since its inception, authoring monthly commentary.
Personal service and integrity are the two uncompromising principles guiding the firm?s practice. Mr. Cobb has no associates and handles all matters personally with the aide of two paralegal assistants. Personal service is maintained by constantly viewing all facets of the practice from the client's point of view and always being accessible to clients in need.

Mr. Cobb not only follows the mandatory Rules of Professional Responsibility, but also observes an practices the higher professional standards embodied in the Bounds of Advocacy promulgated by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and adopted by the Florida Bar Family Law Section. It is this commitment to integrity that breeds the credibility indispensable to Mr. Cobb's ability to consistently serve his clients interests in an effective, efficient, and conscientious manner.
